A little about me

  I am a full time furniture artist located in Austin, TX and I love to paint. I also love to have fun and make others laugh! I'd rather go to lunch with friends, play a game, or just take a walk then do all that adulting stuff. I think that is why God led me to be  a teacher for almost 20 yrs and then guided me back into the art realm. I started out as an art major in college, but I didn't think I could cut it and switched to teaching.  Now I get to mix the two together and I am having the best time ever! I love getting to help others turn their old furniture into fresh and vibrant new pieces, with meaning. I also love getting to create my own masterpieces for my NEW children's/teens line of furniture, coming out this Spring.  I enjoy teaching others how to paint through my mobile chalk painting and private paint classes too.  If I am not painting you will find me just loving on my family, backpacking, walking, spending time with good friends, or helping my husband and best friend reach his dreams too!  My goal is to help you with your painted furniture and workshops needs
